Mesa resident, Wendi Wilcock Jensen, is the wife, of 25 years, to husband, Richard, a mother of five children, a grandmother of two, a life coach, a trainer, a mentor and a speaker, and, along with good friends, Penny Hansen and Camille Smith, is one of the three founding members of the Whole-istic Living Conference held in Mesa each year.

Recently Wendi added one more to her long list of accomplishments: She is now a published author.

Sister Jensen, of the Noble Ward in the Skyline Stake, is the author of The Healing Questions Guide: Relevant Questions to ask the Mind to Activate Healing in the Body.

The project was the culmination of approximately two and a half year’s worth of hard work, of putting it all together and getting it published, she says.

“It started a long time ago, when I first started to notice the physical connections to the same spiritual and emotional issues. It was LDS author, Karol K. Truman’s book, Feelings Buried Alive Never Die, that first sparked an interest in me, and I began writing questions in the margins of the book, as they came up. Later, the thought occurred to me that maybe all these questions might be helpful to other people, too,” says Sister Jensen.

She says The Healing Questions Guide can be a helpful resource.

“It is just a tool, an alternative, to help those who are not getting all their answers through traditional means,” Wendi says.

To complete it, Sister Jensen wrote in her spare time and while her children were at school. Initially, she asked four close friends for help and advice, knowing that it was going to be such a big project that it would be difficult to tackle alone. After a time, they were all pulled in different directions, but, with the help and vision of her husband, Wendi persevered until the book was finished. She is certain that without her husband’s support and encouragement, her book would still be trapped somewhere on her personal computer.

“We live in a great time where so many natural alternatives are available to help us with healing and repairing our lives. My hope is that my book will inspire others to strengthen their ability to ask relevant questions and learn how to strengthen their own spiritual mechanisms that help us, “says Sister Jensen. “My whole purpose behind writing this is to help people connect to the Holy Spirit more so the Spirit can be involved in their healing.”

The book is printed in paperback and also comes in Kindle form. For more information about her book, visit www.wendijensen.com.
