With an up-close-and-personal approach, East Valley litigation attorney, Brent Bryson, gets the results his clients have come to rely on.
From initial consultation to strategy meetings, and every step along the way, Bryson is right there, dealing directly with the client, so he can pick up on the details and nuances that ultimately make a difference in the courtroom.
“My clients know who they are dealing with, and I know them and the details of their case,” he says, adding, “When you know the details, you can make the right arguments, and that’s how you get results.”
It helps, of course, that Bryson loves being in the fray.
“I like practicing law, I like being a litigator, I believe in my clients and their cases,” he says. “I like fighting their battles for them; I want my clients to win.”
After nearly 10 years as a prosecutor and commercial attorney, Bryson opened his private practice in 2006, where he specializes in family law, personal injury and commercial litigation.
“Every case makes a difference in someone’s life. I’m hired to deal with the most stressful issues in someone’s life, and I consider it my job to create order out of chaos,” he says. Especially in divorce cases and others involving children, “We do our best to alleviate the stress of the conflict so our clients can get through their difficult times,” Bryson says.
A native of Washington, DC, and graduate of Brigham Young University and Lewis and Clark College, Bryson says his practice is “just about where I want it.”
“I like how things are, the way the firm is set up, the way it runs. I like that we get outstanding results for our clients.”
He says his paralegal, Mesa native, Marianne (Magnusson) Korrell, is an invaluable resource. “She has over 25 years of experience and is the best paralegal in the Valley. She helps with information gathering, paperwork, research and writing, and she really makes a difference in the seamless way our practice runs,” Bryson says. “I’ve worked with a lot of paralegals and she is the best I’ve seen.”
He adds that his wife, Julia, has been a great support, both in caring for their home and two children and in contributing her marketing and public relations expertise to help him grow his practice.
For Bryson, one sign of success is that “almost all of my clients are referral-based. Some of those are repeat clients who are needing additional services.”
“All I would say is ‘Just keep it coming,’” he says. “I want to help more people and to be of service to more clients.”
