Registration is now open for the seventh annual Kanab Writers Conference to be held October 11-13 in scenic Kane County, on the Arizona/Utah line.
Organized by a committee residing in Arizona, Utah and Nevada, Kanab’s writers conference is unique for several reasons. First is the setting. Attendees come back year after year to enjoy the creative boost of the red rock surroundings.
Another unique feature of this conference is the “plein air” writing experience Friday morning. Attendees hike through a colorful landscape to find a place to sit and write undisturbed.
The main writers’ conference events begin Friday evening. Breakout classes cover craft basics, marketing, editing, audiobooks, children’s books, the business of writing, and more.
USA bestselling author, Elana Johnson, both an indie and traditionally published writer, is the keynote speaker.
