In a new location and an all-new, world-class facility, Horne Kia offers even greater efficiency and productivity, making the car-buying experience more pleasant than ever.

“Our new facility is part of the Kia Gallery Program. Everything about it is customer-friendly,” says Michael Housh, Horne Kia general manager.

Every aspect of the sales experience has been enhanced, he says.

“The showroom is massive, big enough to show 9 to 12 cars.”

“We now have private sales booths, and our selection is tremendous as well. We have $8 million in new cars and $2 million in pre-owned automobiles.”

Mike adds that they have one of the most professional and knowledgeable sales staff anywhere. “Some of these guys were pretty highly recruited, and we had to jump through some hoops to have them come to work for us, but as a result, we have a very solid, very professional sales staff.”

Another unique feature of the new facility is the indoor delivery area.

“We have a very nice, indoor delivery area, so new car owners can take delivery inside, away from the heat or the Arizona monsoons.”

As in the past, this new state-of-the-art Horne Kia service department offers the full range of services on all makes and models—including brake jobs, battery replacement and oil changes—typically at lower prices than at well-known chain repair shops.

“We also price match on our tires, so we guarantee the lowest prices,” Mike says.

“Our new facility has a 20-bay service center, with a three-lane wide reception area and two comfortable customer waiting areas, where customers can watch through a big window to see their car being worked on,” Mike says.

“We’ve increased the number of technicians to 12. Five are Kia Master technicians and the rest are working to become master certified,” he says.

“Bottom line, we’re in business to serve our customers and to build our business through customer retention,” Mike says. That’s how Robert Horne wanted it when he started in the automobile business in 1991 in Show Low and passed those practices on to his sons—Aaron, Adam, Andrew, and son-in-law Martin Jones.

“Both names—Horne and Kia—have a good reputation for value,” he says. “People see the Hornes’ conservative values and the ‘small town’ way they do business, always treating other people the way they like to be treated.”

“Kia has a good reputation for value and quality as well,” Mike says.
