Gilbert Hosts Largest Constitution Week Celebration in the Nation

Gilbert’s Constitution Week is recognized as the largest celebration of the Constitution in the nation. This year, the celebration will include a variety of activities between Sept. 17 and 23.

The main event, the Constitution Fair, will be held at the Plaza / Town Square in Gilbert, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sept. 21. The Fair will feature international recording artist David Osmond, along with food, fun, community booths, kid zone, fireworks, military fly-overs, paratroopers, informative displays and other musical acts from the Gilbert area.

The weeklong celebration will include a Treasure Quest, Boy Scout merit badge clinics and student art and essay contest, as well as an adult fine art competition with a patriotic theme. On Thurs., Sept. 19, “One Nation Under God” will bring together spiritual leaders from across the country from many denominational backgrounds for an inspirational evening.
