Auditions Announced for Saturday’s Warrior 40th Anniversary Show

All the magic and music of the legendary show—Saturday’s Warrior—will be brought to life again in celebration of the 40th Anniversary. Norlan Jacobs, of Dreamweaver Productions, and director of the original Utah production, is bringing the anniversary show to Arizona in the summer of 2014. Jacobs says it will emulate the original production, yet it will be bigger, more beautiful and better than ever. The grand opening will be June 26, 2014, at Higley Center for the Performing Arts for a limited engagement.

Auditions for this professional, anniversary production of Saturday’s Warrior will be March 8, 2014, for children’s roles (ages 7 to 16) and March 11 through 13, for adult roles (17+). Those wishing to audition should be prepared to sing a 1- to 1½ minute number and to learn and perform a short, choreographed routine. For further information regarding the auditions and dance workshops, go to www.saturdayswarrioraz.com.

Tickets are on sale now, at www.higleyarts.org, at the Higley Center for the Arts box office or by calling 480-279-7194.
