Come learn a little about Arizona’s political history. This educational museum is always free, but they do suggest a donation to help them keep it this way. The Arizona Capitol Museum is open from 9am to 4pm. Guided tours last 45 minutes, or families can swing by for a less structured visit.

Mesa: Main Street in Mesa offers a Second Friday Night out that is family and dog friendly!
Apache Junction: Veterans Memorial Park in Apache Junction (1001 N. Idaho Road) offers free music 7 to 8:30pm on third Saturdays all the way through August 20th.
Tempe: On Fridays and Saturdays until September, Tempe Marketplace (Loop 202 and McClintock Drive) hosts musicians late into the evenings. These events begin at 7pm.
